THIS LISTING IS FOR A VINTAGE POLISHED BRASS RITCHIE 4" CARD NAVIGATOR COMPASS WITH A POLISHED BRONZE/BRASS? BEZEL BINNACLE/DASH MOUNT. THIS IS AN OLD NAVIGATOR SERIES MODEL FN-50 AT THE TIME THIS WAS LISTED I ALSO HAVE A NAVIGATOR? BULKHEAD MOUNT COMPASS LISTED.
BELOW ARE SPECS FROM VIKING COMPASS THAT REFURBISHES VINTAGE COMPASSES INCLUDING THIS ONE:
The "Old Style" Navigator compass was made from 1965 to 1984. The solid brass top ring and brass bowl make it an extremely durable and well made compass. The clear dome measures 4-1/4" in diameter. This model is the flush mounted high-speed powerboat version. These compasses are still very serviceable,The standard Overhaul cost of the SNF-44 is 9.00 which includes a new clear dome, gaskets, oil, repainting the bowl, powder coating the bezel, mounting gasket and a two year warranty. Parts to the lighting and return shipping are extra. Your compass will be like new when you get it back and takes less than two weeks in our shop.
THIS MEASURES APROX 6" WIDE AT THE BEZEL AND STANDS APROX
5 1/2" TALL. IT HAS AN APROX 4
" CARD AND THE GLOBE IS FULL WITH NO BUBBLES. I REWIRED IT WITH APROX 11" OF NEW MARINE TINNED WIRE WITH HEAT SHRINK AT THE SPLICE.
