Vintage - Brio pull-apart caterpillar - Rare. Condition is "Used"
This pull-apart caterpillar by Brio of Sweden.  6 1/2" long and is made of hardwoodwith finished in bright enamel colors. Cute smile and big roundpainted eyes. (small mark on left eye ball) but that is the only blemish on the excellent condition toy. The feet are wooden beads attached to each ring with via a metalpost---more finished-looking than a nail but otherwise the same kind of thing.Each bead spins freely.
The head is attached to the threading post andthe tail and screws on so that the caterpillar can be played with without itcoming apart.
Brio produced this toy from 1974 to 1989.  This is a very rare toy and not easy to find!
