BENNINGTON POTTERS POTTERY Classic blue agate mug, the venerable David Gil's design.--Style #1977--Measures approx. 3 1/4" in diameter and 3 1/2" high. Unlike other Bennington pottery agate mugs, the base of this mug is glazed over with same blue agate sponge pattern. For those adding to their blue agate mug collection, please note this style has a straight side. It does not have the slight flare at the rim as one of David Gil's most common mugs (#1626) has. The glaze is blue and light beige, although it appears to be white in pictures from the flash.
It has a small speck by rim where glaze is missing. Please look at all pictures to better determine condition
