BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 800 SILVER & GOLD VERMEIL
FILIGREE BIB NECKLACE & MATCHING EARRINGS!
I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A SMALL COLLECTION OF VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE
ITEMS COLLECTED FROM AROUND THE WORLD, MANY ARE SIGNED AND THIS BEAUTY WAS AMONG THEM.
IT IS CLEARLY MARKED ON THE END LINK RING "800", AND THEY WEIGH A COMBINED 37.7 GRAMS.
THE NECKLACE MEASURES ABOUT 21" LONG AND HAS A RING AND SPRING CLASP CLOSURE.
IT FEATURES GRADUATED FILIGREE FLOWER WITH GOLD CENTERS THAT MEASURE FROM 3/8" UP TO 1/2".  THERE IS A DANGLING CENTER THAT HAS A LARGER 3/4" FLOWER AT THE TOP. EACH YELLOW CENTER IS ATTACHED TO THE "FLOWER" WITH PRONGS ON THE BACK.
THE MATCHING EARRINGS HAVE SILVER PIERCED HOOK WIRES AND MEASURE ABOUT 1 3/4" LONG AND WEIGH A COMBINED 3.7 GRAMS.
IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN WORN BUT IS IN VERY VERY NICE CONDITION WITH A LOVELY SOFT PATINA WHICH I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN OR REMOVE.
ALTHOUGH NOT MARKED IT MAY BE EUROPEAN AS MANY PIECES WERE. WHAT A FABULOUS FIND, BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED.
