    Triethyl citrate is an ester of ethyl alcohol and citric acid, an oily liquid with a delicate fruity odor.
    Registered as a food additive E1505.
    Triethyl citrate can be used in the production of food flavorings. This active liquid helps to ensure uniform diffusion of the gaseous phase of liquid and solid food products with the formation of the necessary gas emulsion or foam, that is, it is a foaming agent. Triethyl citrate also has stabilizing properties. It dissolves well in alcohol, ethers and water.

    Food industry
    In the food industry as a consistency stabilizer, emulsifier, thickener, texturizer, binding agent in dry egg white. It is added as a consistency stabilizer in the production of soybean and salad oil, confectionery and beverages (excluding milk liqueurs).
    Perfumes and cosmetics
    In perfumery it acts as a basis for fragrances and perfumes. Among cosmetics, it is known as a base for nail polish.
