THE CARNIVAL HAS COME TO TOWN, WITH A BRIO FERRIS WHEEL AS  MAIN ATTRACTION!
BRING FERRIS WHEEL PASSENGERS FOR A SPIN!
Seat your riders snugly in the four colorful buckets – one red, one green, one blue, one yellow. Then,  turn the black knob and watch the wheel spin  round full circle for the ride of a lifetime!   The Ferris wheel base is crafted of solid beechwood. The front features a blue trestle design and the legendary Brio logo.

The BONUS goods train carries turquoise cargo that matches the Ferris wheel’s trestle design. Could  the cargo be   carnival prizes or food cart treats? Let your imagination decide!  All trains ride smoothly on black rimmed wheels with stainless steel domed hubs.

This set is now out of production.  BRIO originated in Sweden in 1884, but today it’s extremely difficult to find new BRIO sets made there.

CONDITION NOTES:
ORIGINAL BOX, is   in good shape for its’ age.  The box has some dog-eared corners and wear on the edges. There are some cracks in the  green plastic inset.
INCLUDES 15 INSTEAD OF 18 FIGURES.  MADE UP FOR WITH BONUS FREIGHT TRAIN, PLATFORM &  OVERSIZE FIGURES.   Our set includes  15 painted  wooden people, 1 – 1 ½” high: :  two  gray ticket collectors and one brown concessionaire; ; 3 children (2 red, 1 blue); and nine sitting people (5 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow).  We   replaced missing three  with  four larger 2” figures, which can ride the trains in a fun way by   grabbing   a foothold on a  back train rail. We’ve added a covered railway platform with bench and a freight train with turquoise cargo.

SNAP UP THIS CARNIVAL COLLECTIBLE BEFORE IT’S GONE!  This was one of my favorite boyhood playsets, and as an adult I am amazed by the set’s timeless quality and superb beechwood  craftsmanship.  As   I downsize, my  wish is  to find a budding young engineer who will treasure this Brio  as much as I did.  As the original owner, I have stored this set carefully in a smoke free pet free home.
