With the shortage of R134a a lot of the 30# cyclinders may come thru with a 1/4" male flare fitting instead of the 1/2" male ACME fitting the auto technicians are used to.
The R134a hoses will not fit the 1/4" male flare tanks.
The same is true with the tanks that may come thru with the 1/2" ACME male fitting.
These tanks will not fit the 1/4" Yellow hose that the HVAC technicians are use to.
This adapter kit will cover everything you could need.
The R12 to R134a adapter is 1/4" female flare x 1/2" male ACME.
The R134a to R12 fitting is 1/2" female ACME x 1/4" male flare.
