  • Condition: Vintage-according to the website, Jacob Swedlin & family ran GUND for four decades beginning in 1925, so most likely pre-1965. There is nothing about Sani-Foam on the tag, so it must pre-date that as well. There is a little flop in the neck and a lot of the fur is loved off, revealing the stitching; a Velveteen Leopard (if you get the reference). The eyes are still snugly fixed and the nose/mouth are embroidered. The tongue is a bit of felt. The pictures are part of my description.     Plush leopard toy by GUND/Swedlin
    8" long
    Vintage-according to the website, Jacob Swedlin & family ran GUND for four decades beginning in 1925, so most likely pre-1965.
    I looked and looked and could not find a leopard in this crouching pose that also had the black eyes.
    There is nothing about Sani-Foam on the tag (and it does not feel like it's stuffed with foam), so it must pre-date that as well.
    There is a little flop in the neck and a lot of the fur is loved off, revealing the stitching; a Velveteen Leopard (if you get the reference).
    The eyes are still snugly fixed and the nose/mouth are embroidered. The tongue is a bit of felt.
