DESCRIPTION: What can I say about Peter Wolf I really helped to support his art work and talent for many years when he came to the USA from Germany to Toy Fair each year. He passed away at the young age of 59 only a few years ago. He was such a talent and such a good spirit. I miss him greatly but then the entire Doll industry has also passed away to a certain degree.
This wonderful one of a kind 20"  Handsome Gentleman Gardener was one of   Peter's favorite figures. These 16th century figures that Peter created  especially for A Century of Dolls are more then fabulous. This handsome Gentleman Gardener is part of the other group of the people who worked outside the castle.  See the gentleman who is flirting with lady with the garden wood gate. These figures are is dressed in fine antique trims and lace as all of Peters art figures that are in my eBay store.  They are posable so they look so lifelike.
All the art figures shown in my eBay store at this time all work together since they are 16th and 17th century court figures from inside and outside the court. Peter created a large body of work in his years in Germany utilizing the finest of antique fabrics and trims that both he and his mother collected over the years. Each of his figures is dressed in these fine antique trims and metal lace. Each one of a kind figural Art Sculpture by Peter is a treasure to behold.
Peter worked in Fimo a hand molded resin clay  that looks so lifelike when molded, so it is the perfect medium to create art figures that look so realistic. The details in the character faces of his sculptures is amazingly real.  Also his figures are posable the arms and legs usually can be posed to make them look like they are alive. Each figural art sculpture has the Peter Wolf COA tag.
