This is not compatible and will not fit on Macbook A1278 2008 Model
2009 and 2011-2012 keyboard and keyboard with backlight are interchangeable.
The difference is the F3 and F4 keys logo only but it has the same function.
We might ship the 2011-2012 version if we don't have stocks for 2009 version but we assure you that they are compatible.
