    Description

    This Kimport labeled doll is called Brother Ignatius and paper label stating made in CA.   Slight age discoloration of white vestments.  A small cross hangs from rosary beads. The head is ceramic with cloth arms and body.  Hair is slightly thinning.  This doll representing early Americana has a wonderfully expressive face.   A great and unusual artist doll.  Thanks for looking.  Made late 1940s or early 50s.
