    Description

    It is in nice damage free condition with no chips or cracks.  The diameter is 5 7/8".  I am not positive this is the true toast cover.  It looks a lot like ones I have seen pictured though to me the knob looks a bit different.  I acquired it at an estate sale and it was with a large collection of Candlewick items.  There was no bottom with it. After I did this listing,another Ebayer contacted me telling me that the Candlewick toast cover knob is hollow.  That jogged my memory and I now recall seeing a cover many years ago and the knob was indeed hollow plus it was dome shaped .  I did see another one on the internet that does look right like mine and it was advertised as a toast .  The base was with it.  Candlewick was manufactured around 50 years so it is possible different toast covers were manufactured.
