Ford Mustang 1979-1993 SN95 Upgrades Rear Brake Hose Adapter Fitting

$ 4.64

Availability: 59 in stock
  • Condition: This listing is for a brand new brake line adapter. It's intended for use while doing the SN95 rear brake upgrade on your 1979-1993 Ford Mustang. It will fit the rear brake line that is originally connected to the rear wheel cylinders in your factory rear drum setup. You will need a total of (2) adapters for your conversion (one each for the left & right sides). You will also need to make a provision to take-up the extra length of the factory brake line as it is going to be too long. An easy way to do this is to just put a small loop just before the end of the brake line to take-up the extra slack that will be in the factory line when attaching to the new rear brake caliper hoses. There are many other ways to make it fit. Just use your imagination. I believe the factory brake line will be approximately 3 inches too long. Any questions just contact me. Happy to assist.

    This listing is for a high quality, brand new inverted flare brake line adapter (as seen in the photo) for use while doing the SN95 upgrade on your 1979-1993 Ford Mustang. It will fit to the factory rear brake line tube nut that was originally connected to the rear brake wheel cylinders. This in turn will then attach to the new rear brake hose which in turn connects to the rear caliper. Just let me know if you need help with this. Happy to assist. (pictures to come).

    Use this adapter to join the factory rear brake line to fit to the new SN95 brake hose that you then attach to your new rear caliper(s). If you are unsure of how or where to use this adapter you can contact me for help.

    This adapter will allow you to connect between the 79-93 Mustang OEM rear brake line and the new 1994/1995 rear brake hose. If you are unsure of how this all goes together contact me for assistance prior to your purchase.
    Question:
    why do I need this adapter? Where does it go? How many do I need?
    Answer:
    This adapter goes between the factory brake line that runs across the rear-end and will then connect to the SN95 rear brake hose, which then in turn attaches to the rear caliper via a banjo bolt (available separately if needed). By using this adapter, you can just attach the brake hose without having to install a new tube nut, cut the brake line and have to use a flaring tool. You will need 1 adapter for each side (2 total)
    We usually have this part in stock but they do sometimes sellout.
    We also carry a 3 piece set that includes 2 rear adapters and 1 front adapter at a discount, if you need the whole set.
