    This EL powder may be used for making electroluminescent devices. The EL powder is white but gives off blue electroluminescence upon application of AC current.
    EL powders are specially made ZnS powder that was doped with small amount of other elements (such as Cu). This special treatment allows the ZnS powder to act as electroluminescent material when exposed to alternating electric field.
    IMPORTANT: 'Glow in the dark' phosphor powders WILL NOT work for EL.
