    Instructions
. Squeeze and pull. Painting Conditions: Use outdoors in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use temperature between 50?F and 90°F (10?-32°C) and humidity below 85% to ensure proper drying. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding areas to protect from spray mist. Preparation: Remove dirt, wax, and grease with Rust-Oleum® Caliper Cleaner or with Rust-Oleum® Wax & Tar Remover. Wash the area with a mild soap and water and then dry with a clean cloth. Lightly scuff the area with #320 grit sandpaper and wipe away all sanding dust. Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Painting: Shake the can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. If the mixing ball fails to rattle Do not strike the can. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold the can 10-16" from the surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion while spraying. For the best appearance, apply a few light coats 10 minutes apart. Apply all coats within 1 hour of cleaning the surface. Note: Caliper Paint features an advanced spray system that allows you to spray at any angle, even upside down for those hard-to-reach areas. A comfort spray tip with a wider finger pad reduces fatigue caused by continuous spraying. Dry & Recoat Times based on 70°F (21°C)-50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes, to handle in 1 hour. Wait 7 days for the paint to fully cure. Apply a second coat within an hour or after 24 hours. Clean Up: Wipe off the tip when finished. Clean up wet paint with Xylol or Mineral Spirits. Throw away an empty can in the trash pickup. Do not burn or place in the home trash compactor. Clogging: If the valve clogs, twist and pull off the spray tip and rinse it in a solvent such as Mineral Spirits. Do not stick a pin or other objects into the stem.
