Asian Wood and Lacquer Teapot Flower Footed Original Tag Stamp Bottom Vintage

Description

Vintage Asian wood and lacquer footed teapot with original tag.  There are two what are similar to postage stamps on the bottom, possibly import stamps.  The teapot is brown with orange inside the teapot, a beautiful hand painted orange flower with gold colored leaves.  The teapot handle has two small brass clips holding it to teapot.  The teapot is approx 5-1/2" in height when handle is up, approx 2-3/4" in height to top of lid, approx 2-1/4" in height to top of teapot, approx 2" in height to spout, approx 6-1/2" from back of teapot to spout, approx 2-1/4" opening, approx 1-1/2" depth, approx 2-1/2" from foot to foot.  There are some signs of age/use/wear.  The teapot was never "used" as a teapot, a decorative piece only.  There are a few fine scratches on the wood.  The bottom has a few areas where it looks like when the lacquer was applied it left a few brush marks on the bottom.  There is some color/enamel fade/loss in areas, however minimal.  A few normal wear and age marks.  Needs a proper cleaning to get out the dust in the little grooves.  All shown in pictures.  A beautiful and elegant hand painted wood and lacquer teapot with orange and gold flower, original tag on the side of teapot and two stamps on bottom.  Sold as is.
