9.5 inches tall. Made from red  ware with a Bennington Glaze. This is the antique equivalent of a Dribble Glass. No matter whether you try to drink, from the spout or the rim, or even the holes around the neck, you were going to dribble over yourself a portion of your beer. The solution was to block the holes and suck the beer out through the spout, without tilting the jug. There is an air passage around the neck and down the handle that acts just like a straw.
Check the photos carefully--there is chipping and damage to the surface, but still a neat piece of American pottery.
