    Description

    For Sale:
    Two (2) unique hand-made vintage dolls, SISTERS, with sweet hand painted faces. These one of a kind art dolls are beautiful with high quality craftsmanship and materials.
    This pair of dolls are 11" tall and are made of cloth, hands, face/head and shoes are painted cloth. Shoes are brown painted cloth, hands are painted flesh color cloth as is the face also painted cloth.
    Hair appears to be made of mohair-like yarn with a row of tiny braids. Doll's dresses are more like coats made from flannel, the scarves are made of flannel fabric. Doll's expressions are sweet and thoughtful.
    Hand made by OOAK doll artist, possibly signed under the clothing. Purchased in the 1990’s at an art fair in North Carolina.
    One doll is holding a patchwork heart with blanket stitch embroidery reminiscent of crazy quilt design, not a printed design, actual miniature patchwork. Heart measures 4" x 2-1/2" and is adhered to the hands of the doll.
    Lovely display decor dolls for antique, farm house, cabin or country decor.
